Windchill Benefit Bundle is a collection of useful Windchill customizations, which reduces time of recurring operations. It simplifies your work with Windchill and provides you with functions which are not implemented in OOTB Windchill.
The collection is permanently extended by additional customizations and you have the choice to pick the items you need out of the bundle.

- Download PDF – In case your CAD drawings are published as PDF documents, „Download PDF“ provides you with an action menu to directly open the published PDF with one mouse click. No more moving to the details page and open by Product View.
- Simple Rename – Enhances the rename action in case you are using same values for Name, Number and Filename. No more typing your new values three times. With “Simple Rename” you just enter your new filename in the Rename dialog. The value for Filename is automatically passed to Number and Name.

Simple Save As – Same functionality as “Simple Rename” on “Save As” dialog.
- Simple Promote – Reduces the Promotion Request from 6 to just 3 visible steps. Gathering objects, Edit Object List and Set Target Lifecycle state is the only required information for Promote.

Exclude Frame – When copying drawings it might happen that your engineers copy the drawing format as well and check it in. By using “Exclude Frame” the drawing format is automatically excluded in the “Save As” dialog.

Enhanced Identity Service – The „Modify Identity“ access permission only deals with Number and Filename. When renaming your objects, the “Modify” permission is mandatory to set a new value for the Name attribute. In case your object has already released iterations (“Modify” permission is unusual on released items), the system prevents you from setting a new name. “Enhanced Identity Service” reflects the “Modify Identity” permission also to the Name attribute to provide a single access permission for completely renaming your objects.

Enhanced Publish Job – provides you with a flexible, configurable job in the “Publish Scheduler Administrator”. It gives you the opportunity to publish CAD documents depending on CAD type (Drawing, Part, Assembly), Lifecycle state and Modification date including a “Republish” option.

Representation Cleaner – removes outdated visualization objects and hence restores space in your vaults. You are able to configure what “outdated” means to you (e.g. remove all objects except latest released).

Waste Box – Deleting objects in Windchill is sometimes nearly impossible because of the many relationships between objects. “Waste Box” allows users “delete” objects by promoting them to a predefined Lifecycle state. The attached Workflow then moves the relevant objects to a Product/Library of your choice where users do not have access to. Optionally objects can be automatically renamed.

Folder Description – provides you with the opportunity to manage descriptions on your Windchill folders the way it was like in Intralink 3.X. It also includes a simple process to migrate your folder descriptions from Intralink 3.X to Windchill.
